New Jersey Board of Education Meeting Minutes

Boards of education must keep minutes of public meetings. Approved minutes, agendas, and resolutions are public records under OPRA, and the Open Public Meetings Act separately requires that meetings be noticed and open.

What to ask for

• Approved minutes for a specific meeting date range
• Meeting agendas and attached board packets
• Adopted resolutions
• Executive session minutes, which may be released in redacted form
